I have lived on St. Thomas for over 20 years. I worked in the field of education both as a classroom teacher and administrator for 15 years. I am currently the main editor for one of the territory's newspapers.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Rutgers University and a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
